Divine Sun Series: Red Sun
Aendul and Rhann have discovered, who wants the Divine Sun dead, so badly. But why is a complete mystery. They’ll have to find out, if they want to stop a second plot. But their attention is being pulled in so many other directions. They can’t just abandon their own duties, even with a threat on Aendul’s life. A looming war, a pretender to the throne, corruption in the Divine Sun’s temples, and a devastating increase in monster attacks in the West. They have a lot of things to resolve, and time is not on their side.

Myrdin has one goal in life and that’s to spend it having fun: whether that’s stealing for the fun or starting fights, as long as it’s fun, Myrdin is there. But when he discovers he’s actually the son of a defunct royal family from a country overseas and worse! The nephew of the current Queen of the country his family hid in, Myrdin’s suspicious that his fun times might be in danger. But when a threat to the empire decides his backyard is where they want to set up shop, Myrdin decides to work with his queenly aunt’s inspector to put a stop to it. If the empire ends, his fun is definitely over and that’s one thing Myrdin refuses to allow.

25 years ago, Chase and Ethan were kidnapped. A lot has happened since then and they no longer know where the other is, but now both free, they have still managed to find their individual happiness: Chase married to Jason, a mafia boss, he adores and is very willing to help. Ethan running a cafe-bookstore along with his definitely-keeping-secrets wife Becca. Things are good and for Chase, they are about to get better: He’s finally figured out who his birth family is. The people he’s always wanted to know. The people…who are actual superheroes.
Not the worst problem to have, truthfully. Chase can hide things for a while. Just long enough for the family to know him and hopefully not kick him to the curb, when they find out.
But finding that family seems to have started a countdown to the past, suddenly catching up to both of them. A past that’s threatens both their current lives and any hope of a true reconnection to their birth family.
Chase’s threatening texts, Jason’s missing world-ending necklace, Ethan’s unwanted meeting of an oddly frightening elderly man, and Becca’s very suddenly strange behavior. They are connected, but no one knows how. And worse the two pairs — Jason and Chase; Ethan and Becca — are each only holding half of the information.
But they are going to find the link and they are going to stop it from ruining their lives. They worked too hard for their happiness to let anything take it from them.
